Adin Ross and Richard "FaZe Banks" Bengtson have announced their intention to create a cryptocurrency server for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6).

Both are influential figures in the gaming and streaming communities. During a live broadcast, they stated that they plan to integrate their own digital token into the game's economy.

“When GTA 6 comes out, Ricky and I will create the biggest server together. I promise you, it will be fully crypto-based. Everything will be connected to crypto. This will change the game,” Ross stated.

FaZe Banks added that the server's economy will operate on a "newly created coin," while Ross mentioned that they are investing significant funds into its development.

Overall, their vision focuses on an in-game economy based on blockchain. However, the developer of the Grand Theft Auto series, Rockstar Games, has traditionally opposed the use of cryptocurrencies and NFTs in its games.

In 2022, the company released a statement banning the integration of such assets into private servers for GTA Online and Red Dead Online.

Despite these restrictions, discussions within the community continue about a possible shift in Rockstar's policy with the release of GTA 6. Some rumors suggest that cryptocurrency rewards or payment options may appear in the game, though there is no official confirmation of this.
