Today, the National Bank of Ukraine sent banks a list of prohibited electronic money
“The National Bank of Ukraine today reminded banks and payment market participants that the rules for using electronic money of the Webmoney, Yandex.Money, QIWI Wallet, Wallet one/Single Wallet trademarks were not agreed upon by the National Bank of Ukraine, and the provision of services using these trademarks to users is prohibited,” the press service of the NBU said. At the same time, the NBU informs that today the organization has agreed on the rules of the domestic settlement systеm "WebMoney.UA", which do not relate to the rules for the use of electronic money and do not inсlude a description of transactions with electronic money. The list of international and domestic payment systems that have the right to operate on the territory of Ukraine, as well as banks that have the right to issue electronic money, you can find on the official website of the National Bank (section "Payment systems and settlements").
